IMAGES: 2,000 vegetation seized at Fairfield unlawful growhouses

(KRON) — Authorities seized greater than 2,000 hashish vegetation from three unlawful growhouses in Fairfield on Jan. 9, the Fairfield Police Division stated Friday.

Warrants have been served by the Division of Hashish Management (DCC) and FPD. The growhouses have been at Gillick Lane, Milton Smith Lane and Clyde Jean Place.

The DCC seized a complete of two,001 vegetation between the three homes.

Fairfield has had issues with unlawful growhouses. Eleven have been shut down within the metropolis up to now six months, police stated.

“Illegal operations like these pose significant health and safety risks to anyone inside or near them, to include neighboring homes and residents, as well as responding public safety personnel,” FPD stated.
