(KRON) – Greater than two dozen bottles of liquor robbed from a Vacaville retailer had been present in a stolen car, in response to the Vacaville Police Division.
Vacaville PD was alerted to a stolen sedan close to Davis and Bella Vista streets. Officers responded to the scene and spoke to the occupants – Sacramento residents Montaje Lewis, 30, and Desiree Turner, 46. Police mentioned the duo complied and had been detained.
An area grocery retailer contacted the division to report a brazen theft, the place a suspect, later recognized as Lewis, stole a “large amount of alcohol” in rubbish luggage and walked out of the institution. The silver sedan matched the suspect’s car within the theft and greater than 30 bottles of liquor had been discovered within the automotive.

Lewis and Turner had been arrested and booked into the Solano County Jail on varied costs associated to the possession of a stolen car, possession of stolen property and violation of probation.
The suspects didn’t have a desire for alcohol. Totally different manufacturers of whiskeys, tequilas and vodkas had been discovered within the sedan (pictured above).
The bottles had been returned again to the grocery retailer, in response to police.
