(KRON) – An Oakland man was arrested in a San Jose Police Division retail theft operation, in keeping with the division.
At 2:30 p.m. on Monday, San Jose law enforcement officials responded to a Goal within the Capitol Sq. Mall for the report of a theft. Police have been knowledgeable {that a} man, later recognized as 53-year-old Derek Pitts, started to take away theft safety units from many gadgets after which left the shop, stated San Jose PD.
Officers assigned to organized retail theft element detained Pitts as he was leaving Goal. Methamphetamine, in keeping with police, was discovered on Pitts by officers.

Pitts was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Primary Jail for a number of fees, together with theft and possession of methamphetamine.
