One hospitalized, cat dies after fireplace ravages 4 residence items in Campbell

(KRON) — A number of individuals misplaced their properties after an residence constructing caught fireplace in Campbell on Tuesday, the Santa Clara County Fireplace Division mentioned. Six items have been affected by the blaze, and 4 have been destroyed.

The hearth occurred at a two-story residence on the 300 block of Union Avenue. Crews responded at 6:37 p.m.

Three individuals have been rescued, and one was hospitalized. One cat was killed and a canine was safely rescued.

The Purple Cross helps those that misplaced their properties.

Union Avenue was closed between Apricot Avenue and East McGincy Lane as crews battled the hearth. It’s anticipated to reopen round midnight

No explanation for the hearth has been introduced.
