(KRON) – Greater than 50 San Francisco small companies will obtain over $350,000 in funding grants between them from the San Francisco Shines Storefront Enchancment Program, Mayor London N. Breed introduced Monday.
This program gives new and current small companies with as much as $10,000 in grant funds. The funding is supposed to assist in storefront enhancements and gear purchases, which the town says help in lowering vulnerability to crime, attracting foot site visitors and guaranteeing compliance with metropolis necessities.”
Breed referred to the town’s small companies as the middle of what drives SF’s financial system.

“SF Shines has awarded nearly $4 million in grants for hundreds of small businesses, but this is just one of many resources available for our small business community,” stated Breed.
Based on the town, roughly 960 companies have obtained the grant because the program’s inception two years in the past.
The proprietor of Cha Cha Cha and Oz Pizza, Onur Ozkaynak, stated he’s “deeply grateful” for the grant. “This investment has not only enabled much-needed improvements to my businesses but has also brought renewed hope for future growth.”
A complete of 56 companies will obtain the grant on this spherical, in response to the town.
