(KRON) — Firefighters responded to a ruptured gasoline line Monday afternoon, in line with the San Jose Hearth Division. The incident was at a residential construction on the 1300 block of Davis Avenue close to Rose Backyard, SJFD mentioned.

San Jose FD HazMat groups and PG&E responded to the scene. As of three:14 p.m., SJFD confirmed that the gasoline line was safe. The primary construction impacted was underneath building and unoccupied. Homes on either side had been evacuated, though one was unoccupied, officers mentioned.

One extra home was requested to shelter in place. As soon as the gasoline readings had been clear, evacuations and shelter-in-place orders had been lifted.
