After a short search, officers positioned the suspect strolling close to the intersection of seventeenth Avenue and Palm Avenue. As officers approached him, the suspect, recognized as 41-year-old Jose PirirBoch of San Mateo, allegedly swung a steel chain at an officer earlier than operating north on Palm.

Officers pursued him. As they caught as much as him, police say PirirBoch stopped operating and tried to bodily struggle officers. On account of what police known as his “aggressive and combative behavior,” officers deployed a taser to cease PirirBoch.

He was safely detained in handcuffs and medically evaluated after being tased. As soon as he was medically cleared, officers took PirirBoch to San Mateo County Jail and booked him for theft with prior conviction, felony resisting arrest, and resisting arrest.
