Solo car crash on San Mateo County coast kills 1

(KRON) — Freeway 1 was closed in each instructions Monday morning in Pescadero after a deadly solo car crash, based on the California Freeway Patrol.

At roughly 1:40 a.m., CHP responded to a report of a car colliding with a pole on Freeway 1 close to Bean Hole Street. Arriving officers discovered a car in items, based on the CHP incident log.

One individual was killed within the crash. It’s not clear if there have been different occupants within the car.

The reason for the crash is unknown. CHP suggested of fog within the space, although it’s unclear if it was a contributing issue.

Freeway 1 was closed for a number of hours within the early morning earlier than reopening at 5:42 a.m.
