(KRON) — The South Santa Clara County Hearth District (SSCCFD) shall be dissolved after county supervisors authorised the advice on Tuesday, based on fireplace officers. The Santa Clara County Hearth Division (SCCFD) stated the hearth district presently supplies safety companies to San Martin and unincorporated south Santa Clara County by a contract with Cal Hearth.
Following the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors approval, the Santa Clara County Native Company Formation Fee (LAFCO) is ready to proceed with annexing SSCCFD territories into the Santa Clara County Hearth Division, officers stated.

“This process is complex and is likely to take some time to complete,” SCCFD stated. “As we work through the details of the dissolution and annexation with the County Executive and LAFCO, we want to be clear that we remain committed to providing the same high-quality services to the cities and towns we serve.”
The hearth division stated Cal Hearth workers serving on the SSCCFD might be reassigned to fill different vacancies within the system.
