Two Cal Maritime college students caught in crossfire of Vallejo taking pictures, each injured 

(KRON) – Two Cal Maritime college students had been shot close to downtown Vallejo on Tuesday night time, in response to Open Vallejo and the Vallejo Police Division. 

At 7:31 p.m. on Tuesday, Vallejo PD responded to a fuel station on the five hundred block of Tennessee Road for the report of a taking pictures. 

Per Open Vallejo’s reporting, occupants of a white Mercedes and blue Impala had been taking pictures at one another, and the 2 victims had been caught within the crossfire as they had been pumping fuel.

Eight Vallejo faculties face attainable closure

Responding officers situated two victims, one particular person was shot within the face and the opposite within the neck, in response to Open Vallejo. 

A relative of one of many victims has created a GoFundMe for the sufferer’s emergency surgical procedure, medically induced coma, helicopter transportation and intensive neurology care.

Cal Maritime launched a press release concerning the taking pictures, “Many have asked for an update on our cadet colleagues who were the victims of a shooting two nights ago. Thankfully, both are recovering from their injuries, but these are not wounds that heal overnight. One of the cadets was released from the hospital and is recovering at home with family. The other cadet remains hospitalized and is accompanied by family members.  Please continue to keep them foremost in your thoughts and wish them a very speedy recovery.”

Police haven’t but made any arrests on this case. Anybody with data concerning this case is requested to contact the Vallejo Police Division.
